Sue has been teaching Sociology courses at Edgewood, including Theories of Society and Education and Society, since 2013. She is most interested in the interaction between levels of social organization, especially in how people understand institutions, social structure, and ideology. Interest in social movements and collective action to resist oppression originally led her to study Sociology. In her community work, Sue has been involved in advocacy to improve services for people experiencing homelessness and worked on many local campaigns for elected office.
